European Golfer Breaks Shin After Celebratory Plunge into Lake

Perhaps Thomas Levet took the expression “Go jump in the lake,” a bit too literally.

Levet broke a bone in his shin after he plunged into a lake while celebrating his victory in The French Open at Le Golf National on Sunday.  The fracture places his participation in next week’s British Open in doubt.
